I don't think he is compromising but he is listing the potential problems that we face...and I am sure that he is living life to the fullest in his way. and I agree that because of GC ..we face some issues in travel ..in other words ..a bit of tension is always there about AP / H1 stamping etc. for e.g. if I had GC then most likely I would have gone for longer and even unpaid vacations every year ..but because of GC ...I have to be more careful (for the better I guess).

I got a email notification from my attorney just now that my I-140 is approved with priority date ported from EB3. Not sure whether I should wait few weeks before initiating interfiling process.

Since on 2nd July they said they will reject the AOS application, what if they would have done some rejection during that time, and by the time July filers get their application back, it is after 17th of August. In that circumstance, can you send the AOS application back arguing USCIS's mistake and ask them to take it back after 08/17 and would they take it back politely or reject it again.

I don't know if anyone of you has ever gotten on a rush hour train in mumbai. This is really sad. I dont expect Eb2s to understand EB3's plight, but to blame the EB2 backlogs on EB3, and the false accusation that we are getting EADs out of turn -- that is simply disgusting. While you are at it, why dont you blame EB3s for all the ills in the world, say the war in Iraq, Darfur issue, the gas prices, terrorism, the housing collapse in USA, Nazi genocide. Please feel free to explode the list at your will. You are obviously more wizened than EB3s, so we might be doing things without our knowledge.
I hope there is more and more EB3 interfiling, so that these "holier-than-thou" EB2s get their misplaced sense of superiority smashed to smithereens, and get to know the pain of waiting for long periods of time.

They dont even realize that the actual "wait counter" starts after filing for GC. If you could not hold on to a job or joined a job that did not sponsor your GC earlier. that is your fault. Not USCIS' not EB3s' yours. Get it. YOURS!.
If you are so special take some time to read the law. Labour substitution was not defined in the laws, which is why it got explicitly junked. PD porting is part of the law.
If you want to work on an action item work on 5882.

Stop sending money to parents and in-laws, if its possible. Otherwise, maintain parity by sending money in small amounts to both parents. Its stupid to say my wife is not working so she has no business to send money to her parents. Its so wrong and I'm surprised folks can think like this. Marriage is about sharing and even a child will tell you that. If the in-laws are any sensible they won't accept gifts from the son-in-law but its for them to decide.And stop receiving any gifts from either sides.
I don�t agree with this point. If I am doing something and taking care of my parents its my duty. it does not mean my wife also have to do tit-for-tat. It depends on the situation and circumstance. If she is the only daughter, her family situation is bad then we can think about it.
In this case, when her two other sisters and specially her brother also in the US, I don�t see the reason to support the in-laws. If you make more than enough it�s different. But when you are struggling to make your ends meet...I don�t support your point on this.
